Shipping & Returns

Deliveries within Ireland cost just €3.90 and are free if you spend €50.00 or more.

 

We hold 95% of our stock in our warehouse and aim to dispatch packages within 24 hours of the order being placed. All online orders are dispatched from our warehouse which is open 5 days a week, Mon – Fri, 09am – 05:00pm. If stock is in one of our retail stores but not in our warehouse it may take a couple of extra days to fulfil your order. Busier periods of the year may affect this also.

 

Orders placed before 2pm, Mon – Fri will be delivered within all of Ireland within 48 hours and will be delivered to you by Fastway Couriers. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday. Your order will be provided with a full track and trace on each parcel.

 

Please note that due to the holidays any order placed after 2pm on the 19th of December will be held in the warehouse and dispatched in the New Year.

 

To ensure the package reaches the intended recipient we advise our customers to be certain that information provided is accurate (in particular a contact number) as the package may be returned to the warehouse if the courier cannot make contact with the recipient. We cannot cover shipping costs to resend the package.

 

Availability of Stock

Stock listed on our site is not always guaranteed to be available online as we cannot control purchasing in our four retail stores in Galway and Dublin.

Returns Policy

Customer satisfaction is of great importance to everyone here at The Candle Store. If you are not happy with your purchases you can return the goods to us within 20 days of receipt. We are happy to offer an exchange or refund provided the item(s) are returned in saleable and unused condition and in their original packaging. Please note that delivery charges cannot be refunded.

 

We advise customers not to return items without contacting us via email to inform us of the returns first.

 

Defective/ Incorrect products

 

In the case of defective or incorrect products The Candle Store will, where applicable, dispatch a replacement product. Customers should contact us via email or by phone to inform us.

 

We can also exchange or replace incorrect or faulty products in any of our stores provided you have all the receipts and shipping details with you.

Damaged Items

Please contact us via email detailing the damaged item(s), your order number and a photo(s) of the damage to your item(s). We will be more than happy to arrange for a replacement to be sent to you. Please do not return the damaged items unless instructed to do so by us.
